Become a Community Manager
June 2022 / London / Applications Closed

FastTrackers for Community Managers is a ten-week in-person programme designed to equip you with the skills you need to succeed in an apprenticeship at a leading UK games studio. You’ll learn from some of the country’s best in Community & Marketing, and be supported by a host of groups dedicated to supporting your future career in games. At the end of the ten-week course, you’ll meet, and be interviewed by, game studios actively hiring for Community Manager apprentices - giving you the chance to land your dream job.
-
FastTrackers is open to anyone who is 18 years or older and is living in Southwark, Wandsworth, Lambeth or Lewisham. This programme is designed for those with an interest in marketing, community management, PR, social media etc.
You don’t need to be a “gamer” or know how to make games, but you should have a passion for marketing. An ideal candidate for FastTrackers for Community Managers is someone who moderates a Discord or Twitch community and has an active social media presence.
We will give priority to those who may have faced barriers to entering the games industry, particularly those from underrepresented gender or ethnic groups, neurodivergent or disabled individuals, and those from working-class backgrounds.
