We want to change how people hire in games & immersive.
FastTrackers was created to make the games industry - and pathways into it - more accessible.
FastTrackers programs consist of a ten-week interactive boot camp where participants learn discipline-specific skills, industry working practices, and employability skills, before being interviewed for real-world games apprenticeships opportunities. FastTrackers training programmes are free to access, designed specifically for those who have faced barriers to accessing opportunities to work in the games industry.
The programme is ongoing and equally dedicated to helping game studios make their workplaces more open to vocational training pathways.
FastTrackers is a collaborative effort between Into Games, Spiral Skills, and Game Anglia, and is funded by STRIDE London
Spiral skills: Locally rooted in Lambeth, Spiral Skills support London’s most vulnerable young people with employability workshops, 1-2-1 mentoring, and work experience placements so that they can take control of their lives and act independently.
Into Games: UK's non-profit skills and careers service for the games industry, connecting education, social enterprises, and careers charities with the UK games industry.
Game Anglia: A not-for-profit Community Interest Company that helps the young people and independent game developers in the East of England get the connections, skills and experience needed to succeed in the UK-wide and international game development industry.
